Turnpike SportsⓇ #BetfredSports (@BetfredSports) Pro Football Picks – Week Twelve

Doug

Dallas just finished demolishing the Vikings and are now facing off against a New York Giants team that appear to have hit a rough spot this season. The Giants are coming off a bad outing versus Detroit, in which they lost six players to injury, and have lost two of their last three outings after a hot start to the season. The Cowboys have scored at least 24 points in each of their last four games and over 40 points twice in that span. The Over is 10-3 in the last 13 meetings between these teams in Dallas and 5-2-1 in the last 8 meetings overall.

Over 45.0

These two teams haven’t played each other since Brady’s gotten there so past history may not factor into this too much, but the Buccaneers are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings. Speaking of Brady, he hasn’t looked like himself until last week’s game against the Seahawks and while Jacoby Brissett has done a pretty good job leading the Browns offense, the team is still 1-6 over their last seven games. Tampa Bay needs all the wins it can get its hands on so I’m expecting the team to come out focused and playing for their playoff lives.

Pick is Tampa Bay -3.5

Miami had a bye last week and still ended up in first place thanks to division rival Jets failing to stop an end of game punt return by the Patriots. The Dolphins have produced 105 total points the past three games. Miami’s defense, on the other hand, is the problem – they’ve allowed 76 points against in that span. The Over is 3-0 in Miami’s last three games and while the home team is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings and the Favorite is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 meetings, that 12 point spread might be a tough one for Miami to cover.

Over 46.0

These are two struggling offenses mainly because their offensive lines are in shambles. The Vikings o line has not been effective and the Patriots offensive line is injured and is not giving Mac Jones enough protection. I’m not expecting a lot of points in this one mostly because the Patriots offense is not a high-powered unit and not able to put a lot of points on the board and the Patriots’ very good defense should keep the Vikings out of the end zone for most of the night. Here’s an interesting stat I found for Thursday night Thanksgiving games: the under has hit 7 times in a row. And I think that’s what’s going to happen in this one

Pick: I’m taking the UNDER

Tampa Bay is coming off a bye week which is good for them because they are coming into this game a bit more healthy than they have been in the past weeks. I think this is the week when Tom Brady puts it all together with some of his skill position people being back in the line up. Tampa Bay is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 Week 12 games and 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 games in November. I like the Buccaneers to win by at least a touchdown.

Pick: I’m taking the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and laying the points

These two teams have been the most disappointing for me this season. Especially the Los Angeles Chargers who I expected to play much better than they have this season. But right now the Chargers are the more talented team in this game against the Cardinals. Playing at home hasn’t even helped the Cardinals this year because in their last 10 home games they are 2-8 ATS. Looking at the Chargers, they are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games after a loss and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games overall. I like the Chargers in this one.

Pick: I’m taking the Los Angeles Chargers
