Turnpike SportsⓇ #BetfredSports (@BetfredSports) Pro Football Picks – Divisional Round

Doug

Jacksonville accomplished one of the biggest comebacks not just of the playoffs or the current season, but of the entire NFL history. It’s the second time in three games they’ve scored 31 and at least 31 points in 4 of their last 6, riding a 6 game winning streak to Kansas City, where the Chiefs are 1-7-1 ATS in their last 9 home games. The Road team is 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings and Kansas City is 2-4-1 ATS as a home favorite. The Under is also 5-1 in Chiefs last 6 home games, which means they don’t score alot at home. Jacksonville might stay close to KC here.

Pick is Jacksonville +8.5

The Giants are 5-0 ATS over their last five games, beating the Vikings to advance to the Divisional Round in Brian Daboll’s first year as head coach. The Eagles are 6-3 ATS as home favorites, but are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall and 1-5 ATS against the Giants in their last six in Philly. The Giants are 7-1 ATS as away dogs and seem to enjoy playing that role. They’re 5-0 ATS in their last 5 road games and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 vs. NFC.

Pick is New York +7.5

The Bengals come in winners of nine straight games and are playing a Buffalo team that doesn’t look as good as it did early on in the season. The Bills needed all 60 minutes to beat a Dolphins team with a third string quarterback and seemed to be turning the ball over a lot more than usual. The Bills are 3-5 ATS as home favorites this season and the Underdog is 7-2 ATS in the last 9 meetings with the Bengals. Factor in this too – the Bills are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 playoff games.

Pick is Cincinnati +5.0

The last time these two teams played was on November 13th the Chiefs won 27 -17. Granted the Jacksonville Jaguars are a different team right now but I still love Kansas City in this one. The last time these two teams met in November the Chiefs also turned the ball over three times and I just don’t see that happening in this one. If this game wasn’t being played in Kansas City I’d think about taking the Jaguars with the points but since this one is in Arrowhead. I think the Chiefs will jump out to an early lead and never look back.

Pick: I’m taking the Kansas City Chiefs and laying the points

The last time these two teams played against each other I took the Cincinnati Bengals and I’m taking them again. This is going to be the game of the week and I think this will be an extremely close game. So close I think a field goal will decide it in the final seconds of the game. The Bengals are 12-3-1 ATS in their last 16 games against the team with the winning record and 36-7 ATS in their last 53 road games. The Bengals cover and I think that’s what they’re going to do in this one.

Pick:I’m taking the Cincinnati Bengals

With the win streak the 49ers have been on how you can bet against this team. San Francisco is stacked offensively and they have a very good defense which I think will slow down Dak Prescott and the Cowboys offense. Quite frankly I’m surprised the spread is only 4 points. The Cowboys are 0-3-1 ATS after a straight up win and with the game being played in San Francisco I think the 49ers will win this by at least a touchdown.

Pick: I’m taking the San Francisco 49ers
